Split is served by the Split Saint Jerome Airport (SPU), also known as the Resnik Airport. SPU is located about 24 km (15 miles) west of Split city center, near the town of Kaštela. It’s a key gateway to Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, especially during the summer months.
Another possibly low-cost option would be to fly into Zadar Zemun Airport which is a Ryanair hub. However, note you would need to take a ~2.5hr bus to Split or find an alternative transportation.
